Watercolor workshop description and agenda:
- This two day workshop recording includes 5.5 hours of Carol's demonstrations and instructions.
- Learn at your own pace!!! You will get workshop video access for 6 months.
- Carol will share her watercolor techniques through lecture, demonstration, and individual instruction.
- TWO demos are included for each workshop.
- Each student will received Carol's personal feedback on their painting (by email) after completing the workshop. You will be given instructions on how to submit your painting for feedback after purchasing the workshop.
- Carol will cover the basics of her signature watercolor approaches, the materials she's using and her main painting techniques.
- The workshop also includes tips on marketing your art, resources for supplies, documenting artwork and developing personal imagery.
- On each day students are introduces to Carol's signature workshop tutorial;
- Carol demonstrates each step of completing the tutorials at a comfortable speed allowing students to follow the workshop with her;
- Each day will begin with a detailed demonstration using an original work as a starting point. Use of color, control of water, compositional considerations and value structure will all be covered.
- All critical moments of completing the painting are carefully discussed and followed through the duration of the workshop equipping the students with watercolor skills necessary to paint on their own.
- After purchasing the workshop you will receive video viewing instructions, supply list, reference images, workshop tutorials and any additional workshop materials by email.
- The recordings are raw, unedited online Zoom workshops previously conducted live.
- 12 months access to view the recordings online with unlimited access.
- Personal feedback from Carol on your own painting completed after watching the workshop.

Carol Carter is an internationally recognized artist whose career has spanned more than 35 years. Carol has taught workshops for over 30 years, as well as in university. Her paintings have been in many national and international exhibitions, both juried and invitational. She has been featured in global publications including, International Arts Magazine, Art of Watercolour, Watercolor Artist, and L’Aquarelle Magazine. In 2012 she was an AIRE fellow for the Everglades National Park. She is part of the Art in Embassies program with art currently in the American Embassy in Montenegro.
In 2019 she was also honored with Master Signature Member status, American Women Artists and Master Signature Member status, Heartland Art Club. She recently exhibited in “Making Their Mark: American Women Artists” at the Booth Western Art Museum. She is the recent recipient of 2020 Snehil Lifetime Achievement Award, Snehilsrijan, India. She has exhibited her work in Europe, China, Hong Kong, USVI, Morocco and throughout the United States. She has lead many symposiums on how to make a living as an artist and marketing art as a career. She has frequently served as a juror in art exhibitions both on national and on international levels. She is on the advisory board of the American Watercolor Weekly. |
