ONLINE Soft Pastels School

​Welcome to Tatsyana Harbachuskaya Online Soft Pastels School.
This complete soft pastels program is greatly beneficial for pastels beginners as well as intermediate pastels painters as it consists of 100% live hands on practical workshops filled with deep knowledge on art theory, color theory, principles of design, composition, etc.
As the course progresses throughout 2022 it will help students improve their pastels skills as well as their overall painting skills which will benefit their ongoing painting experience.
Soft pastels specific techniques will be deepening during the course helping students progress to advanced levels of painting in the beautiful medium of soft pastels.
The workshops are 100% live, interactive and unique covering different subjects. Each student will receive individual attention from Tatsyana as we’ll be working in a small group format.
Workshop recordings will be made temporary available for students to rewatch and do their own additional practice exercises.
Through out the workshops will be studying floral still life, landscapes and other subjects to help students expand their painting portfolios.

Personal feedback: Students will receive personal feedback on their painting within a week of workshop completion.
Chat: Participants are invited to use chat through the workshop for live interaction with Tatsiana.
Workshop recording: Students will be given access to the workshop recording for 2 weeks
 after the workshop.
ALL TIME ZONES WELCOME. STUDENTS CAN WATCH THE WORKSHOP's RECORDING  AT THEIR LOCAL TIME AND STILL RECEIVE TATSIANA'S FEEDBACK ON THEIR PAINTING.

Soft Pastels workshops "Loosen Up and Paint Expressively"

Soft Pastels workshop description and agenda: ​

  • One day workshop will include 3 hours of Tatsiana's live online demonstration and instructions.
  • Each student will received personal feedback on their painting during or after the workshop.
  • Students will have a limited 2-week opportunity to re-watch the workshop at their convenience. 
  • Along with 2 demonstrations,  Tatsiana  will emphasize the underpainting of color in terms of temperature, intensity, and value while using these ideas in her pastel technique.
  • Throughout the class students will be invited to ask questions and engage into live interaction with Tatsiana. 
  • Short Zoom orientation session the day before the workshop to get all the participants up to speed with the platform (optional).

Cancellation Policy: A handling charge of USD 50 per person per course will be levied on all cancellations. 80% charge (USD 64) will be implied if you cancel less than a week before the workshop date.
We reserve the right to cancel online workshop at one week notice and provide you with a full refund.


Tatsiana is a professional artist with over than 20 years of experience in landscapes, human and pet portraits, as well as florals. She holds Master degree in Fine Arts and Art History.
Tatsiana is an exhibiting and teaching artist now living in Las Vegas, Nevada.
She is a signature member with the Watercolor West, NVWS and Western Colorado Watercolor Society.
Although she enjoys painting in a variety of media, Tatsiana finds watercolor the most unique and expressive medium to work with. Tatsiana has shown her painting widely for over 15 years.
She has received awards from Watercolor West in 2014, 2015, and 2016. Her paintings were named Best in Show at Nevada Watercolor Society (NVWS) Fall Show 2016, Spring Show 2017, NVWS Signature Show and Spring Show 2018.
