I had an absolutely wonderful time at our Thomas Schaller workshop. He is such a talented Artist and very giving of his time and knowledge and so encouraging. Love love love you Tom and so looking forward to crossing paths with you again down that painted road. Elena, many thanks to you for all your work in bringing Tom here to us.

The 2-day workshop with Thomas and his fur buddy Otis was exceptional. Thomas was a wonderful instructor who not only demonstrated his watercolour techniques but took time to explain his thought process on what he was doing and why. This method certainly brought clarity for me and gave me a greater understanding of some methods and techniques to apply in my work.

I so enjoyed this workshop...it was the best I have attended. Fabio Cembranelli is a wonderful teacher, gives each participant individual time and has a great sense of humour. His use of colour is second to none and I will travel long distances to attend another workshop offered by this talented man.

I can't wait to attend another one! Carol Garrison Fabio Cembranelli makes a master piece out of a big mess, as I discovered when, at my request, he corrected my painting. He is not afraid to give it all. He shares his knowledge freely. It is mesmerizing to see his hand float from water, paint, and paper, back and forth. I can hardly wait for the next workshop. Taking a four day creative watercolor workshop with Fabio Cembranelli was an very enlightening experience. He is a very gifted Brazilian artist who makes you feel at home with him the person and in the watercolor medium. He paints extremely loose, and magic just appears before your eyes as he works with warm and cool, positive and negative, in a very spontaneous manner. Fabio will definitely introduce you to a new way of seeing form and relationship of image to the watercolor paper.

I am very grateful that I did participate in the watercolour course. ...It was an honour to watch him create paintings from the beginning to the end. It is rare that an artist would do this especially under an hour and half. It was a challenge in painting flowers in a close up view since I do mostly acrylic landscape paintings. It was great that Fabio provided us a wide range of "assignments" (close up, landscape, lines, photos). Also, it was a rewarding experience for me to mingle with others taking the same course. It brought back fond memories of being with my colleagues back in university.

A very well-organized workshop - right at 9:00 with great tech support. Pleasant location with easy parking.

Fabio’s teaching techniques were excellent. He explained what paper, paints, brushes he was using and why. The first day was well timed with demo and practical. Lots of time for individual and group instruction. No one participant hogged his time.
I especially liked his approach to flowers. I would have loved to have seen his approach to landscape the second day but some ladies overruled. I would suggest next time that in the advertising F. C. tells us what subject e.g. seascape, florals, city scape, etc. he will paint on each day. I would not travel for 2 days of flowers again... I appreciated the list of paints and notices Elena sent out. She was very helpful. Overall it was 5 ⭐️/5 stars

I liked learning a lot about painting the flowers - look at the shape of the flower, carving, using background to shape the flower. I like the way that Fabio teaches technique - how to hold the brush, carve out of the background.
